You took my breath and held it
Pressing me down
Stretching me tight
Gravity pulls and pulses
Across a sapphire sky
Of brilliance and diamonds
Whispers of wind bend me
Drawing out an arc
Of whispered need, want
Demands for air, my breath
Returned to me
Along with mercy
Beautiful! Really love this piece and the image you choose to represent it. 💜
Thank you. I am always happy when my poetry reaches others.
Wow, Val. I feel the passion and heat of the moment. Exhilarating.
Thank you Monica. Sometimes things come on an exhale. ❤
Took me awhile, but I will officially exhale now.
Beautiful.
Oh thank you, I wouldn’t want you to hold it too long.

Thank you my friend. I am always so pleased when my words touch.
Well done … and I sense part of your personal journey.
Always a personal journey in poetry Frank. Always. Whether it is new or from the journals. Oddly, I find even my journals speak to my now, isn’t that strange. But this one, it is new.
Thank you.
Oh yes … and quite the journey.
Liked this one very much
Thank you my friend. How are you? How are you healing?
