“Tell me what you think the problem is?”
“I really don’t know Doctor, I am so angry.”
“You have the right to feel that way.”
She glanced from her place on the couch. He reminded her of the Longleg spider her brother use to catch. She squirmed slightly and wondered again, why she was here.
“I sometimes feel like hurting strangers.”
“You have the right to feel that way.”
“Really Doctor, do you think so?”
She glanced over at the doctor thinking, ‘he really is creepy.’
“Yes, you have the right to your feelings.”
“Doctor, you really are loco.”

Nothing quite like talking to a doctor who is crazy…!
I’m very late to this post, but it is exactly the experience I have had with shrinks. When I wanted to see one while in Switzerland following my sister’s death, my Swiss doctor said “But they’re all nuts!” He was right.
This Elyse is essentially the experience I had with a ‘Victim’ specialist. By the end of my first session I was ready to beat him into a bloody puddle. I realized he was far crazier than I was. 🙂
liked your twist – enjoyed reading all… me? i’m having a lo-commotion day. continue…
Twist? This is true, taken from a true couch story.
Now I would never have thought of the crazy Doc…. LOL….. 🙂
I think sometimes ‘head’ docs are often crazier than their patients, don’t you?
I will reserve judgement Val, only because it may incriminate me lol, as I had dealings with One only this last couple of weeks in an emergency referral of a client I support … Least said that I can agree with your statement 😉
Yes I voted for beating up on the doctor too.
Poor doctor, he did not endear himself did he?
Oooooh, this was grrreat! I just watched an episode of a show called The Blacklist (or something like that). I’d never watched it before, and even though it totally creeped me out, I got hooked! The episode involved a man they called “The Stewmaker” who made people vanish in a particularly grotesque way. This “doctor” of yours reminds me of him. Crrreeeeepy and loco for sure! XOXO-Kasey
Might have to check that one out, I have always liked creepy. That doctor is someone I met many years ago. I suspect he might have frowned if I had said I wanted to hurt strangers, but he still was creepy. 🙂
LOVED the twist at the end of this one. He is, indeed, loco! Well done, my friend. Hope your day is loco-less!
Hugs from Ecuador,
Kathy
Trying for lack of loco though must say, it is nearly impossible my friend.
Hugs back from Houston today
Val
I agree with Carrie – if he invites you for dinner – you could just be it 👿
Just make sure he doesn’t take you home, cook you up, and eat you! By the way, Hannibal says hi…
Fava beans and chianti, yummy!!
And a little Valentine dessert…
Even better … chocolate
I’ve watched movies! I know about these kinds of doctors. He has the mantra down perfectly but he’s the crazy one.
This is PURRR-fect, Val. Perfect.
You think he might be over the top a little? Funny thing, this conversation actually happened.
Hehe. He sounds like a recording. He would drive me out of my mind.
The wrong person is on the
couch here me thinks? 🙂 lol
I have enjoyed reading this
one Val 🙂
Andro xxxx
You might just be right, either that or they are perfectly paired.
Yes I never thought of that, and with this
pairing it will be a cats choir on the next
full Moon 😦
A Purrrrrfect Match 🙂

After this:
“I sometimes feel like hurting strangers.”
“You have the right to feel that way.”
I was expecting her to beat the hell out of the doctor.
That certainly would seem to be one strategy. She seems to at least have good impulse control.
Ha ha … I was wondering if the creepy thought was about the doctor.
Indeed, this doctor does seem a bit creepy doesn’t he?
—The Doc is as crazy as she is.
I Like! Xxx LOVE.
This conversation actually took place! Though I didn’t tell the doctor he was loco.
