“Dammit, I did it again.”
Jannelle stared at the crumpled garage door. She wondered how she would explain to her father who had just replaced the last one she ruined. It really wasn’t her fault she thought to herself.
First Tooty called, then Davy texted her, then Bobby called and she had to have a three way with him and Tooty.
How could she remember not to move forward into the door during all that?

Bwahaha! At least it was the garage door and not an oncoming semi… this time. Reminds me of a story of a flat squirrel…
xxx
Reminds me of how stupid even smart women can be in their own damned driveways.
Real life? Oh, boy! Definitely amusing.
Do not make me tell stories on myself, yes real life. Yes, I ran into the garage door. Yes it was because I failed to put the car in park before grabbing my purse and the ringing telephone, How stupid, right?
Ah Oh! Jannelle is in deep do do again! lol
Indeed, Jannelle would be especially having done this deed twice. Terrible thing that not learning from her mistakes!
This is so realistic, Val. As much as I tut tut her multi-tasking, her character seems so innocent but lackadaisical, I like the girl. Awesome flash.
Such terrible things they are, teenagers! Unfortunately Tess, I have the pictures of my garage door and the repair bill to show for my forgetfulness and failure to put it in park. Oops
Ha ha.
If you’re going to park, park don’t talk 🙂 It reads much better when
the word shoot is added, but I don’t think spaghetti westerns fit this
FTP do you Val? 🙂 Great flashing as always my great friend 🙂

Thanks Andro. I agree, put it in park not forward! Stop multi-tasking in the dang car. I think unfortunately we all do stupid things in life and sometimes even adults forget we don’t have super powers.
I haven’t had one single update for your blog
and I am following you too 😦 Mind you I must
admit that although I have posted a few, I have
not been online much lately, been too busy 😦
Glad I called in this evening though, as all of
your writing is a treat and I have had fun reading
your words my sweet friend 🙂

That is very strange. I had that problem a few weeks ago, had to go through my entire list and reset everything to daily then set everything back. I am noticing the problem again. Noticing you haven’t posted in some time, or have you?
Yes I have posted a few but I have not been visiting
many Spaces but after this weekend I am hoping to
change all that 🙂
There are a lot of glitches in WP these days 😦 Grrrr

Well now … there’s something i didn’t anticipate! 🙂 …. and cheers to Bobby’s luck.
Unfortunately, sans all the different activities this was taken from real life!
I can’t ell you how much I could do flash fiction, or fiction of any kind, for that matter. Well done, Val!
Hugs from Ecuador,
Kathy
Personally Kathy, I think you could do wonderful Flash. You have a marvelous mind, great life experiences and a wonderful sense of the ridiculous.
That is really all it takes!
