Don’t Stop

Touch me, skin grown cold between times of now and before

Feel me shiver at warmth forgotten, lost to nightmare-scapes

Curled around myself, protective of my chilled memories

Stiffened, breath caught as fingers move between ribs and hips

Hands spread soothing, stroking my fears away into the night

Relaxed into the whispered promises of pleasure

Touch me, skin long cold warms with new memories

Shivers created and stored for new dreamscapes

Unfurling, as fingertips trace a tattoo along indented waist

Gladdened, terrors sent chasing into darkness, fears released

Promised pleasure in fear abandoned and joy found

Touch me again, don’t stop

Valentine, 12-July-14

  1. Val, so sensual and so very romantic. Love it.

  2. Romantic yet dark and all wrapped effortlessly into one poem!

    • I thought it was on the darker side while writing it Christy, it seems though others saw something different in it. Strange isn’t it. Thanks, I value your thoughts.

  3. Love your sensuous moments Val πŸ™‚

  4. At times sensual, at times a teasing anticipation and at times a dare even – marvellously pulled off πŸ™‚

    No pun intended (naughty smile)

  5. You have this continuing ability to draw us into the moment.

  6. Whew … time for a shower. πŸ˜‰

  7. Truly beautiful and sensuous Valentine πŸ™‚

    • Thank you my friend. These are pulled out of me, sometimes I wonder whether I should post them, they are so very different from my norm. Then I shrug and think, they are simply another piece of me. I am always so grateful when others enjoy them or they cause someone to think.
