Fingertips press gently against

Kiss swollen lips

My hand follows the trail

Where you touched

You left reminders on curves

Of your desire

The daylight shines through

Bidding an end

While you pull me back

Demanding anew

  1. As I’ve said before, you have a knack for this.

  2. I think what makes this spectacular is that the reader gets into it and it’s over, not abrupt, but a tease, an emotion that lingers. ❤ 🙂

  3. Wow, Val, you have a way of writing the most passionate, lusty poems. My heart is palpitating just reading it. Nice.

  4. I enjoy these Fifty Shade of Val poems. Very sensual.

    • Gad, I hope I do a bit better than 50 Shades! 😉

I am glad you enjoy them. I am enjoying the writing of them. Well actually maybe better put I am enjoying the putting them out in the world

  5. That is the beauty of life and new experiences, especially the most sensual of them; they inspire hope that indeed, we can very well be made anew.

  7. Such sensual poetry Valentine, Beautiful .. !

  8. Your passion shines brightly, Val, in absolutely superb poetry. This former catholic-school girl tries not to peek, but, alas, I often do and blush as expected.

    • I try Sue, to keep it somewhere between PG 13 and R 17, let the imagination wander a little bit.

But well, my poetry wanders where my heart desires. I think this is the thing with poetry. Dared to finally put myself out there and look where it led. Thank you for reading.

      • Your passion shines through in ALL your writing, Val–whether poetry, flash fiction, or current news and politics. It is all you, 100%. You go, girl ! 🙂

  9. Anew Day anew Dawn.. and anew lover.. 🙂 loved your poem Val… xxx
