FTP 8 Satisfied

She rolls her tongue across the round end savoring the delicate flavor and texture. Every year it was the same, the anticipation, the rush. She thinks to herself, ‘Why, why is it only once a year I can be this satisfied?’

Nibbling the end slowly, she relishes each sensation, each flavor as it bursts across her tongue. Finally, her patience at an end she gently bites down and her mouth fills, sticky cream sending her into spasms of ecstasy. Her tongue whips out catching each thick globule, enjoying the sticky sweetness.

Damn Cadbury!

  1. Sorry it took so long to comment Val I had to take a shower and it took a while for the water to get cold.

As i was reading my wife also looked over to see what I was up to.
She said “what are you reading”
    “A post from Val”
    “Who is Val”
“This Lady who is following me”

I must admit that halfway through it I stopped and asked myself who us this woman?
    Phew! saved by the cadbury

I think I get it now. the keyword is also the subject of the whole flash. I really did enjoy it,

    Nice Val. Nice

    • Exactly! The key to the Flash.

Flash Fiction is hard to right, the word is the prompt. The spring edition was all emotions. The summer addition is all words around food. You don’t necessarily have use the word in the common or expected way though. That is what is fun about Flash Fiction.

There are about 25, maybe more people who write to flash.

      • How do you write to flash. Can anyone play or are the just administrators of the flash page

        • Anyone can play! The link is under the pan “Flash in the Pan”.

Each word is there in the list. Each word count for the word. There are three months so one word per week, but no pressure to get them all in during the week they are assigned. The word count is by month. So April is 75 words, but each word has the assignment.

All the rules are posted here: http://mommasmoneymatters.com/flash-fiction/

We publish the Flash in the Pan book at the end of each quarter. So if you write to all the words you will usually get into the book. Our spring book will be out soon.

  2. I gobble Cadbury eggs. There is nothing sensuous about it. They are much too addictive. Fun story but now I’m craving chocolate. 🙂

  3. I don’t agree with Cadbury’s farming methods hehe but those Damn Cadbury Creme eggs are the best!

  4. Phew! I’m back and so glad I re-read this Val or a Gal might have got the wrong end of the stick! … Cadbury Cream Eggs… Naughty– But Nice!…. Hope you having a good day.. 🙂

  5. Val, I am flying around at the moment and to do all your recent posts justice I will be back over the weekend as I want to catch up properly .. Thank you so much for your comment and I havent forgotten to moderate, just ran out of PC time today LOL..
Love to you and enjoy your own weekend Love Sue xxx

  6. Outstanding …. and I love Cadbury eggs too … but I don’t eat them in a sensuous manner.

  7. Gray Dawster says:

I have just called back in to read this one again, as I was thinking of how you adore those cream eggs so much and guess what? 🙂 i almost bought some today but for once I was good and didn’t get any, however there is always tomorrow and that is the day when my dieting thoughts always happen, erm tomorrow being the operative wording 🙂 lol Have a lovely rest of evening Val and if you do eat another cream egg save me some 🙂 xxx

  8. You know … if you didn’t already have a pic of that pan in the post … my mind would have wandered off the “Schlong direction.” Tweeting this now.

  9. Funny enough, when a person gets O-N, she’s supposed to NEED extravagant taste up-GRADES by way of sugar and salt. So far, I don’t fall into that category. However, I know lots of people who do, especially my granddaughters.

I love the insistance in the story how unfair supply and demand are strategised by Cadbury and the desire to get every last lick. I’m not into sweets but I began salivating…If I stock up, it will be on YOUR hear, Valentine. Ha, ha.

    • I think Cadbury would be on Mayor Bloomberg’s list, I really do.

      No giant drinks
      No Cadbury eggs.

I don’t really fall into the extra sweet group either, with the exception of these delightful treats, that cream filling is simply to die for. If they would wrap it in Dark Chocolate I would be their devoted follower, forever. That it is mild chocolate, I am able to resist.

  10. ahhhhhhhhhh, better than sex, babe! :))) xx

  11. Only you could make 50 shades of Cadbury….

  12. How incredibly wicked, you have
a true gift for these FTP challenges
and so far I have enjoyed every
    one of them 🙂

    Keep adding to these as
    your style sings sweetly 🙂

    • This one was quite fun! If you don’t know Cadbury Eggs, you are missing a wonderful treat available only during the Easter season, terrible sweet treats I die for. Glad you enjoyed reading this one as much as I enjoyed writing it.

      😉

      • I certainly did enjoy reading this one…

        A
        N
        D

Yes I do know those deliciously sweet eggs but they cost a fortune here in the United Kingdom, not that I am complaining as I usually buy them in two’s 🙂

Yes how incredibly greedy I know 😉 lol

        Andro xxx

        • They aren’t cheap here either, no matter. I buy them and hide them from myself so I can enjoy them slowly, teasingly and with great love.

          Damn Cadbury

          • They are very moreish 🙂
But sickly too so we have
to limit our greed 😉 lol

            Andro xxx

  13. I could taste it myself. lol

  14. Oh there are so many temptations this time of year. Cadbury eggs, Peeps. Girl Scout cookies…

    Sigh

  15. singleworkingmomswm says:

This is me! This is me! I LOVE Cadbury Cream Eggs! Oh….now I MUST buy some next grocery visit. 🙂 ♥

  16. I used to enjoy the Cadbury eggs, until one year, tragically, I indulged in one too many in too short a period of time… I was incredibly nauseous for the rest of the day, and haven’t eaten one since.. but, I will agree… they are yummy!

  17. You are a very bad lady as I was trying to not think about chocolate today!

  18. Oh, yes, it’s that time of year again…

  19. Great story. Of course it would be CAD-bury teasing us. IJS.

  20. I am a bigggg chocolate fan! Love the ending 🙂

  21. Bwahahaha! I do so love this…and them. Well, that is not entirely fair. I am glad they come individually. I would put myself into a sugar coma with more than one. 😛 xxx

  22. Okay, you got me going there 🙂

Here I was thinking, Val, how could you write so openly about —– Cadbury? —– you mean like in chocolates 🙂

Ahem, okay. That’s exactly what I thought too — chocolates — from the first phrase!

    LOL, Eric
